This year's schedule does not divide the conference into two tiers. The schedule* was designed to encourage competition at similar levels, including cross-games with NCR and USA Rugby teams, as well as with other conferences in New England.
NEWS for FALL 2021
Rugby Northeast teams will return to competitions in Fall 2021 with the understanding that we are still living in the COVID-19 pandemic and the situation is and will remain fluid for the foreseeable future. All federal, local, and university policies will be followed to promote a safe and healthy environment for our athletes, coaches, and supporters.
Return to play
USA Rugby and National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) have both put out return to play guidelines. These guidelines should be followed, and club coaches should have careful plans to reduce the risk of transmitting COVID-19 as well as to enable contact tracing, if necessary. As always, safety is paramount — pandemic or not.
weekly touchpoints
Rugby Northeast will hold weekly touchpoints with member teams on SUNDAY evenings to debrief on current club situations and to discuss adaptions for the week ahead.
ONE MEMBER OF EACH TEAM IS EXPECTED TO BE PRESENT ON ZOOM SUNDAYS AT 7pm.
